How to Use Jam in a Jiffy

Regular Jam in a Jiffy (red 18 oz. bag):

You’ll need 4 cups (2 lbs) of fresh fruit. You can even mix fruits to customize your jam and get a unique flavor.

Chop or crush your fruit to your personal preference, and mix it with 1/4 cup of water.

If you puree your fruit, you’ll end up with a thinner jam and may not want to add the additional water.

slowly pour in the entire pouch of jam in a jiffy while stirring your fruit and water mixture. Continue to stir until smooth and shiny, about 1 minute.

Let stand for 1 minute, and stir again.

Refrigerate or freeze your jam in whatever portions suite you. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks, freeze for  up to 1 year.

YIELDS APPROXIMATELY 6 CUPS

Sugar free Jam in a Jiffy (blue 6.1 oz. bag):

Follow the same instructions as above except add a 1/2 cup of water instead of  the 1/4 cup of water the regular Jam in a Jiffy calls for.

YIELDS APPROXIMATELY 5 CUPS
