Food Co-Packing Services
Cornaby’s has provided nationwide food co-packing and private labeling services for more than 15 years. Cornaby’s corporate headquarters and manufacturing plant are located in Payson, UT. We specialize in a number of products and manufacturing types. See the list below for more information on specific capabilities.
Jam and Jelly Co-Packing
We have large temperature-controlled steam kettles for cooking jams and jellies to a precise temperature and automatic jar fillers and cappers to bottle and seal up to 8000 8-16 oz jars of product per shift per day. We use an automatic PSA labeler and date/lot code printer to track the product and prepare it for shipping.
Syrup Co-Packing
We have the capability to produce and package pancake and waffle syrups in maple and fruit flavors. We can also produce reduced-sugar and sugar-free syrups.
We use a similar process for preparing syrups as we do for jams and jellies, with capabilities up to 8000 bottles per shift per day. Syrups are usually packaged in glass or plastic bottles, depending on the pH, microbial load, and water activity. We can also apply a shrink band for a tamper-evident or decorative seal.
Nut Butter Co-Packing
We have an isolated space in our plant for producing nut butters. We use a 15 hp colloidal mill, 100-gallon liquid product blender, three high viscosity pumps, fill machines, jar capper with custom fixture, auto-induction seal machine, and an auto round jar PSA labeler with date/lot code printer to provide consistent quality, production of custom formulations, and high output.
Bakery Filling Co-Packing
We usually package bakery fillings in 2-lb. pouches. They are prepared in steam kettles and poured into pouches using a bulk-pouch filler and sealing line to provide consistent quality and high output. Bakery fillings include fruit flavored glazes, Bavarian cream fillings, and fruit fillings. These products are shelf stable.
Barbeque Sauce Co-Packing
Many barbecue sauce recipes are family or restaurant favorites that may be successful on the grocery store shelf. Most barbecue sauces have a tomato base and are cooked to thicken, combine ingredients and meld flavors. They can be packaged in glass or plastic bottles, or in bulk packaging for large-scale use. Lab testing is conducted to identify pH, microbial load, and other characteristics. This determines whether the product must be hot-filled, or if it can be cold-processed. An auto induction seal is applied to preserve quality.
Hot Sauce Co-Packing
Hot Sauces usually incorporate different varieties of peppers and spices to provide the perfect heat signature and flavor profile. They are often packaged in woozy bottles with an induction seal and screw-on cap. They can be packaged in glass or plastic with a shrink band for tamper-evident or decorative seal.
Steak Sauce Co-Packing
Steak sauces are a great way to emphasize the meaty flavor of any type of meat, but beef is often preferred. It can be seasoned according to consumer specification and often uses Worcestershire sauces, spices and seasonings. It is processed in the same way the barbecue sauces are.
Oriental Sauce Co-Packing
Oriental Sauces are developed and packaged according to product specifications, including glass or plastic bottles or pouches. Flavors can range from fruit sauces to pepper sauces, teriyaki, etc. They have an induction seal, cap, and may have shrink bands for tamper-evident or decorative seals.
Soup Co-Packing
We are adding a new production line which allows us to cook and quick-cool soups and package them in induction-sealed containers. These products can be refrigerated for 30-60 days or frozen.
Dry Mix Co-Packing
We provide mixing and packaging of non-GMO, gluten-free mixes using a 100-gallon drum mixer, which maintains the integrity of ingredient particles while providing homogeneity. Our packaging line includes an automatic weigh/fill machine, inkjet printer for dates/lot codes, and a thermal band sealer for pouches. We can also package in plastic jars or cardboard canisters. We are a gluten-free facility, but looking to expand our capabilities to include other product mixes.
Sous Vide Meat Co-Packing
This is a new process that allows us to season, vacuum-seal and cook meats perfectly, while maintaining juiciness and an even degree of doneness throughout the product. This creates a refrigerator/freezer stable product that can be prepared by the final consumer in minutes. We also use the sous vide process for side dishes like potatoes, rice pilaf and other grain products.
Fresh Mac & Cheese Co-Packing
We can also produce macaroni and cheese according to product specification using our new product line. This option is especially enticing for restaurant and grocery store sales.
