Onion Dip with EZ Gel
Onion Dip is a simple and crowd pleasing recipe. Great for all occasions from Game Day to Holiday dinners it is sure to please. Easily customizable by switching out the sour cream for yogurt, or changing the cottage cheese. This onion dip is delicious served with potato chips, fresh cut vegetables, and crackers.

Ingredients
- 2 T. dehydrated minced onion
- 1/2 t. garlic powder
- 1/2 t. onion powder
- 1 t. salt
- 1 t. beef soup base
- 2 T. EZ Gel
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. cottage cheese
- 1 c. buttermilk
Directions
Step 1
(Optional) Toast onion in 400 degree oven for 3 minutes until golden. Cool completely.
Step 2
Combine dry ingredients and set aside.
Step 3
In separate bowl combine sour cream, cottage cheese and buttermilk. Whisk until smooth. Add dry ingredients and whisk again until creamy. Refrigerate to let flavors blend. Serve cold.
NOTE
Feel free to change up kinds of sour cream and cottage cheese to meet dietary needs.
You can make up a large batch of the seasonings in advance and store in an airtight container.
