1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup Dutch processed cocoa (The good stuff!)
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce or pumpkin
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp Ultra Gel®
1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped nuts (completely optional depending on your taste)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9Ã—13â€³ baking pan. Melt butter in a medium sauce pan, add cocoa and fruit and stir well. Meanwhile combine flour, sugar and Ultra Gel® in a medium bowl. Stir in butter mixture then beat in eggs. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or ice with chocolate frosting once cooled.
